It was a very emotional win for the new Head of Household.
Hamza, the soccer coach from Thunder Bay, is the new HoH after he and partner Veronica won the Handle with Care competition.
Since there could be only one HoH, Veronica gave the title and the power away to Hamza.
On the live feeds, Hamza was crying with some of the other houseguests in the backyard after getting a message from his fiancé. The message had everyone reaching for tissues.
“It got me hard last week when I saw Ryan and his family,” said Will, a single father.
In the bathroom, Erica was still stunned by not being paired up in the HoH competition and because of that has immunity for the week.
“I am just literally just chilling all week and it is funny too because I wouldn’t have been worried,” Erica told Veronica and Merron.
“Safety for the week is always a good thing,” said Merron as he folded clothes.
“I guess they didn’t find the horseshoe up my ass during the physical,” laughed Erica.
When Erica left the room Merron asked Veronica if she felt better about surrendering the HoH to Hamza.
“I will never have a moment in there. I am more happy about being focused for the person but I was so close to having that. It could have been me in there. That is why I was crying. I will never cry when watching someone else’s videos. I am not that emotional about missing my family,” said Veronica.
Hamza continued to reflect on the message in one of the bedrooms with Ryan and Will.
Will told Hamza that missing your family is one of the hardest things about being on Big Brother.
“Do not forget, she is not away from you. She is watching you every day,” Ryan reminded Hamza.
